Tara is the name of the home of the Ancient Kings of Ireland. Located in County Meath (The 'Royal' County) it contains a myriad of ancient monuments and was the seat of the High King of Ireland.

Tara was Ireland's celtic and spiritual capital for hundreds of years prior to the arrival of the Normans in the 12th Century.
