Irish Fiction is said to being with the publication of Jonathan Swift's Guilliver's Travels in 1726.During the 19th Century, a golden age of english fiction writing, Irish writers were to the forefront such as Maria Edgeworth's Castle Rackrent', the novels of Charles Kickham and Bram Stoker.
