The portrait on the note features Daniel O'Connell, 'The Liberator', (1775-1847), who achieved Catholic Emancipation and was the leading Irish Nationalist figure from 1810 until his death. The reverse of the note features a drawing of the Four Courts Building in Dublin.
The overall theme from the C Series note is based on Irish historical figures. There were 365,000,000 of these notes issued, most of these were cashed in during the Euro changeover in 2001. This is an original note in circulated condition.
