Ireland & Croatia Maestrovic 15 euro coins in presentation case

In cooperation with the Central Bank & Financial Services Authority of Ireland, the Croatian National Bank issued a commemorative silver coin dedicated to Ivan Meštrović, the most renowned Croatian sculptor and one of the greatest contemporary artists.

The Croatian National Bank issued a commemorative silver coin denominated in kuna, while the Central Bank & Financial Services Authority of Ireland simultaneously issued a commemorative silver coin denominated in euro. The motif used by both central banks on the obverse of the commemorative silver coin was taken from a work by Ivan Meštrović "Girl with Harp".

The coins were minted in proof quality and was released for sale on 1 February 2007 and immediately sold out.
