Florida Pearl

One of Ireland's sporting legends, Florida Pearl was famously bought for just IR £50,000. He earned an astonishing 1.3 million euro over his long career. In 33 races, he achieved 16 first places and 8 placings. He overcame several problems during his career and despite being written off several times, he kept coming back for more. He ran at 6 Cheltenham festivals and won the Champion Bumper and Sun Alliance Chase and was placed in two Gold Cups.

The horse was trained by Willie Mullins.
