Buy Irish Airmail stamps online. Irish Airmail stamps were issued from 1948 to 1965, designed by R.J. King featuring Lough Derg, Rock of Cashel, Glendalough and Croagh Patrick. Irish Airmail stamps were issued between 1948 and 1965.

These stamps were used exclusively for airmail postage. These attractive stamps were designed by R J King and depicted the Angel Victor (St Patrick's Messenger) flying over Irish historical landmarks; Lough Derg, Rock of Cashel, Glendalough, and Croagh Patrick. The stamps have an 'e' watermark.

Postage Due stamps were used to charge for mail sent with insufficient postage paid. Several issues were produced from 1925 to 1988.

An interesting aspect to the postage due is the non-specification of currency on the stamps.
